Inside the QuickServers VPS Platform

Since day one, VPS hosting has been the core of what we do at QuickServers, and we wanted to take a moment to walk through what actually sits behind a QuickServers VPS.
Every VPS on our platform runs on KVM virtualization. That means true hardware-level isolation — your resources are yours, not a slice of a shared pool that shrinks when a neighbor gets busy. You get full root access, your choice of operating system, and an automated install process that has your server online in minutes, not hours.
Underneath the virtualization layer, we are deliberate about hardware. Our host nodes run current-generation processors and fast storage, and we keep node density conservative on purpose. Overselling is the quiet killer of VPS performance, and we would rather run more nodes than squeeze more customers onto each one.
The network matters just as much as the compute. Our Phoenix facility gives us a strong position in the Southwest with excellent routes to the West Coast and beyond, and we publish live latency numbers right on our homepage so you can see how we perform against the major clouds in real time — not marketing numbers, actual measurements.
A few things our VPS customers use every day:
- Full control panel access — reboot, reinstall, and manage your server without opening a ticket.
- Custom IPv4 options — including the ability to bring your own IP space, which we covered in an earlier announcement.
- Straightforward pricing — the price on the site is the price on the invoice.
Whether you are hosting a production application, a game server, or a development environment, the goal is the same: a VPS that behaves like the dedicated hardware it runs on.
