Today is a big day for QuickServers: we have completed the acquisition of two companies — Charged IT and Planet X Hosting.
These are businesses we have known and respected in our market for a long time, and bringing them into the QuickServers family accelerates two things we have wanted to build for years: serious DDoS protection, and a network footprint beyond Phoenix.
Charged IT brings deep experience in network security and attack mitigation — capability we will be integrating directly into the QuickServers platform. Planet X Hosting brings an established customer base and infrastructure presence that extends our reach into new markets on both coasts of the Atlantic.
For customers of all three brands, here is what matters most:
- Nothing changes today. Services keep running, support keeps answering, invoices arrive as they always have.
- Charged IT and Planet X customers will hear from us directly with a clear transition plan before anything moves. No surprises, no forced changes, and — we want to say this plainly — no repricing of existing services as part of this transition.
- QuickServers customers will see the benefits arrive as new capabilities on the platform over the coming months. Watch this space.
Acquisitions in hosting have a deservedly mixed reputation — too often they mean declining service and rising prices. We have been on the customer side of that experience, and we are determined to be the other kind of story: the one where the combined company is simply better at the job.
More announcements are coming soon as integration work lands. Questions in the meantime are always welcome at info@quickservers.net.
